Doulas Aren’t Just for ‘Crunchy Moms’—Why Every Woman Deserves Unwavering Birth Support

"I don’t need a doula. My partner/mom/nurse will help me.”

Your partner has never given birth. Your nurse has 3 other patients. Your mom had you 30 years ago.

Let’s set the record straight: Doulas aren’t just for ‘hippie’ or ‘crunchy’ moms. A doula is your guide, your advocate, your rock in the middle of the storm.

Read to see how a doula supports EVERY birthing person, no matter where or how they birth.

Not just for home birth moms! Hospital births? Yes, we can support you wherever YOU want to birth. We help you navigate interventions, choices, including where to birth.

Partner support? We make them feel more involved, not replace them!

Want to learn more about how we support partners? Listen to our Podcast Radically Thriving.

C-section? We help you recover and process emotionally. We can be there before and after the surgery to keep you comfortable and confident.

Birth trauma prevention: Every mom deserves support! Not just hippie crunchie moms!

Birth trauma is far too common, and we are working on birth at a time to stop it.

Different than your mom being there. We are a hired support person. Which means we support you, regardless of our own bias. Many people feel obligated to invite their mom into the delivery room, but if it feels like you're doing it for her, and not yourself, don't do it.

The support of a doula is unlike anything else. Even midwifes hire us for their own births!

If you want to understand any of these things on a much deeper level, our Dynamic Birth Academy class covers all of it. Learn in an educational but funny way; all face to face recorded video. No slides. This is personal to us and we want you to see how much we care.
